Andrew Lancaster is McKay’s Executive General Manager – Strategy & Innovation. He leads the development and execution of the company’s strategic direction, with a strong focus on innovation, business performance, and renewable energy growth. He also oversees McKay’s Renewable Energy division, supporting the design and delivery of solar generation and energy storage projects that are helping to shape Aotearoa, New Zealand’s energy future.

Andrew joined McKay in January 2024, bringing extensive experience in strategy, transformation, and large-scale operational leadership across complex, multisite organisations. His career has been defined by leading enterprise-wide change, improving organisational performance, and translating strategic intent into practical, measurable outcomes.

He has deep expertise in business transformation, value realisation, continuous improvement, and operational optimisation, with a strong focus on making complex systems simpler and more effective. Andrew is highly experienced in developing and implementing operating models, tracking performance and value, and aligning teams around clear strategic priorities that drive sustainable results.
