Ben Marsh is McKay’s Auckland Regional Manager, responsible for leading the Auckland and South Pacific business units and driving performance across one of the company’s most significant regions. Ben joined McKay in August 2025, bringing a strong track record in commercial leadership, strategic growth, and operational excellence, with full accountability for revenue, profitability, risk management, and long-term sustainability.

With a career spanning nearly three decades, Ben has held senior leadership roles across engineering, construction, and specialist services businesses. His experience includes positions such as General Manager of Fireshield, Commercial Director at Kaizon Group, and National Business Group Leader at GHD, as well as running his own consultancy. This breadth of experience has given him a deep understanding of business performance, project governance, and the importance of aligning strategy with execution.

Ben is known for his commercially astute, people-focused leadership style. He has a proven ability to build strong client and stakeholder relationships, secure high-value work, and lead high-performing teams. His approach combines disciplined financial and risk management with a focus on continuous improvement, effective systems, and strong governance to support scalable growth.
