Ross Rowe is McKay’s Regional Manager for the Bay of Plenty, bringing more than 30 years of experience in construction management and industrial electrical projects. He joined McKay in 2015 following the acquisition of Tenix Kawerau, where he had been Branch Manager, and transitioned into the business with a wealth of local knowledge, leadership experience, and established client relationships.

Ross has built his career leading teams across complex industrial, infrastructure, and electrical projects, developing a reputation for delivering practical, well-managed solutions in demanding environments. With trade qualifications in electrical and control systems, alongside a Diploma in Project Management, he combines strong technical expertise with proven leadership capability.

At McKay, Ross is responsible for leading regional operations across the Bay of Plenty, overseeing project delivery, team performance, and client outcomes. He is known for his clear communication style and his ability to work through complex challenges with his teams to achieve positive, efficient results. A strong advocate for collaboration, Ross places high value on building trusted relationships with clients and ensuring alignment across all project stakeholders.

His leadership approach is grounded in teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement, with a focus on delivering high-quality outcomes while supporting the development of his people.
